Services

An extensive range, scoped to your specification

We take on work based on your requirements and specifications - a single calculation, a full design package, or the management of the whole project.

Core disciplines

Engineering design

Our team has the expertise to tackle most engineering challenges within these core disciplines.

  • Failure investigations
  • Fire engineering services
  • Concept engineering
  • Detail design and draughting services
  • 3D modelling
  • 3D scanning

Compliance

Statutory and legal inspections

Inspection and assessment work that keeps plant, piping and tanks legally operable - carried out to recognised codes and reported so the findings can be acted on.

Structures

Structural assessments

Condition assessment of existing steel and concrete structures, with remedial recommendations.

API 570

Piping inspections

In-service piping inspection in accordance with API 570.

API 653

Storage tanks

Aboveground storage tank inspection in accordance with API 653.

QA / QC

Quality control and assurance

Inspection and test planning, surveillance and close-out documentation.

Delivery

Project management

From the tender that starts it to the closeout report that ends it - the phases below follow the order a project actually runs in.

  • Tender documentation and adjudication - scope packaged, bids compared on like for like.
  • Project initiation - charter, deliverables and responsibilities agreed up front.
  • Schedule development - a programme built around long-lead items and shutdown windows.
  • Risk planning and monitoring - risks named, owned and tracked, not filed away.
  • EPCM project services - engineering, procurement and construction management support.
  • Project closure - as-builts, data books and formal handover.

Fire engineering

Rational designs for occupied and process buildings

Fire engineering runs alongside the rest of our design work rather than as an afterthought at approval stage. We look at the building, the process and the fire load together, and we document the reasoning so the local authority can follow it.

How an enquiry usually runs Rev 0
Step 1
You send scope, drawings or a site problem.
Step 2
We review and ask what is missing.
Step 3
Proposal: approach, programme, fee.
Step 4
Design and draughting, with reviews at agreed holds.
Step 5
Issue for construction, with site support.
Step 6
As-builts and closeout.
